The Story
PLEASE NOTE: Availability & Order Window
This watch is only available to order during a limited 5-day pre-order window, opening on May 12th at 4PM (Paris time) and closing on May 17th at 4PM (Paris time). All pieces are made to order based on purchases within this period, with production beginning once the window closes. Delivery is expected from November 2026, and once the pre-order window ends, the watch will no longer be available to order.
The Seconde Majeure represents a meeting of two contrasting philosophies — Baltic’s rooted, vintage-informed approach and SpaceOne’s forward-looking, experimental design language.
This collaboration results in a completely reimagined display of time. Hours and minutes are separated and shown via rotating sapphire discs, while a central seconds hand provides a continuous sense of motion across the dial.
At the heart of the watch is a bespoke jumping-hour complication developed by Théo Auffret. The mechanism’s visible components bring a sense of depth and mechanical clarity, reinforcing the watch’s architectural design.
The Charbonné dial is the most expressive execution of the Seconde Majeure. Finished entirely by hand in Auffret’s atelier, each dial requires hours of meticulous work, resulting in a unique texture and character for every piece.
Paired with a newly designed case and a fitted Alcantara® strap, the Seconde Majeure offers a distinctive take on independent watchmaking — produced only during a limited ordering window and individually numbered.
