A distinctive evolution of Furlan Marri’s Mechaquartz collection, the Meteorite Octa blends mid-century chronograph design with one of the most extraordinary materials on Earth — or rather, beyond it. Available exclusively during a limited pre-order window, this is a piece that won’t be reproduced once sold out.

A Story Rooted in Watchmaking Heritage

The Mechaquartz collection draws from the legacy of François Borgel, one of the most influential case makers of the early 20th century, known for crafting cases for some of the most iconic vintage chronographs. His signature “Tasti Tondi” pushers and pioneering screw-down case construction set the foundation for durable, refined chronograph design.

That spirit continues here, with a focus on slim proportions, thoughtful case architecture, and meticulous finishing — all made possible by the use of a compact mechaquartz movement.

Meteorite Dial: A Fragment of the Universe

At the heart of the Meteorite Octa is a dial crafted from the Muonionalusta meteorite, formed over 4.5 billion years ago at the birth of our solar system.

Its distinctive Widmanstätten patterns — revealed through precise finishing — are not decorative, but naturally occurring structures that cannot be replicated on Earth. Each dial is completely unique, making every watch a one-of-one expression of this ancient material.

Designed with Depth and Detail

The 38mm stainless steel case showcases a refined mix of finishing techniques, including perlage, polishing, satin brushing, and deep embossing. A decagonal caseback adds architectural character, while the dial features a layered sandwich construction for added depth and legibility.

Polished Roman numerals, double-printed details, and domed hands complete the vintage-inspired aesthetic with a contemporary edge.

Mechaquartz Precision

Powered by the Seiko VK64 mechaquartz movement, the Meteorite Octa delivers the tactile feel of a mechanical chronograph with the reliability of quartz.

Expect a smooth sweeping chronograph seconds hand, crisp pusher action, and instant reset — alongside a pulsometer scale, a nod to traditional watchmaking functionality.
